Hey all, the section of the Noland Trail (Mariner's Museum Park) near the
James River held 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and 1 vocal + cooperative
Yellow-throated Warbler.  Waterfowl numbers + diversity were down in the
James River adjacent, but still lots of Forster's Terns, Horned Grebes
(including some ridiculously close to shore) and Scaup (most rafting pretty
far out), and a scattering of Common Loons (incl. 1 pretty much in breeding
plumage), etc.  A couple Laughing Gulls out there too. Nick FlandersRaleigh,
NC (currently Newport News, VA)
