Going up Woodman Road to I-295, I saw a Red-tail Hawk drop 10 feet or so
from a branch to the weeds along the shoulder. He swooped back up to the
branch with a vole or mole in his talons. I wish he lived in my backyard,
where the harvest would be plentiful.

Thought I heard one this morning as I was laying in bed...at first I
thought it was our resident Mockingbird that has quite the repetoire. Have
run in and out of the house a lot today to the backyard and was able to
confirm the call with a nice sighting of male Redstart flitting in the
canopy...
