I heard a prothonotary 4/5/08 at The Wetlands (JRPS) last year, so maybe not
so early. Definitely a welcome announcement from you and Bob! Now if the
weather would just catch up to the birds..

A wonderful morning at Henricus/Dutch Gap!! that included FOS Prothonotary
Warblers (real early birds!), and 6 Great Egrets back in the tidal marsh.
The Yellow-throated Warblers and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were singing
everywhere as were several Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The pair of Blue-winged
Teal in the marsh near the 1st observation platform was a treat, too!
