I agree with Jan. The title that was selected is a contradiction in
terms. Let's be honest, suet is animal fat. If all you can offer is a
concoction of vegetable material including vegetable oil, why bother? They
get
that from standard bird seed mixtures including sunflower seed, etc. To deny
wintering birds animal fat and protein to be consistent with your personal
dietary choices is not only useless but potentially harmful as well.
