Subject: [va-bird] Warbler ID
No pictures. I don't have a camera. But..it was medium greenish except
for a pale yellow throat, lighter greenish breast, very bright yellow
undertail coverts and lower belly, very bright yellow rump that extended
up between its wings. Wings were black or blackish. Not a regular
yellow warbler because of the yellow rump/back patch, I don't think.
Larger than the Tennessee & Magnolia Warblers that were nearby. I didn't
notice any tail spots but can't rule them out. Also from one angle, I
thought I saw an eye ring but from another angle I wasn't sure about it.
Probably futile without a photo but I thought I would try. :)
Thanks,
Anita Huffman
