There was a very vocal and cooperative Warbling Vireo present near the "Lion's
Bridge" of Mariner's Museum Park this morning around 8:00 am. Other migrants
in the immediate area included a Palm Warbler, an adult male American Redstart,
a few Red-eyed Vireos, Caspian Terns over Lake Maury, and fly-over Bobolinks.
Two days ago I observed a small flight of Eastern Kingbirds over this spot in
the early morning; three flocks headed west along the River totaled 23 birds.
Thanks,
Nick Flanders.
