This past weekend the Widely Wandering Wrynecks (Arun Bose and Allen
Bryan) took part in the Kiptopeke Challenge. A challenge it was, but
fun all the same. Landbirds seemed to tough to find, but a good
variety of shorebirds (20 species) and waterfowl (9 species) at
Chincoteague was a boost. Highlights included seeing both Hudsonian
and Marbled Godwit, 5 Buff-breasted Sandpiper, 11 species of warbler,
