The off and on rain this morning at Banshee Reeks did not create the
ideal birding conditions. One other birder joined me on a soggy walk
around the preserve anyway. It turned out to be a decent morning. We
saw or heard 50 species with good looks at YB Chats, Magnolia Warblers,
a singing Prairie Warbler and two Ravens flying together low over the
barn near the visitor's center. Here's the list:
