I birded the Weyanoke Sanctuary today with Fenton Day , there were a different
mix of birds from yesterday. More Blackpolls and Parula Warblers dominated the
trees today still a nice variety of birds . We observed the following 1 Yellow
Billed Cuckoo , 1 Veery , 4 Swainson's Thrush , 3 Red Eyed Vireo , 8 Northern
Parula , 1 Yellow Warbler , 1 Chestnut Sided Warbler , 2 Magnolia Warbler , 2
Black Th. Blue Warbler , 1 Myrtle Warbler , 1 Pine Warbler , 25 Blackpoll
Warbler , 4 Black & White Warbler , 2 American Redstart , 1 Ovenbird , 1
Northern Waterthrush , 10 Common Yellowthroat , 4 Scarlet Tanager , 1 Blue
Grosbeak
