I had two White-winged Crossbills this morning at Blandy Farm in the evergreens
south of the quarters. I'm not very good with trees but they were in some
trees that looked kind of like tamaracks but since they still had their needles
I doubt thats what they were. Later a female/immature that may have been one
of the same birds showed up under the feeder near the building for school
groups. Photos are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/22374475@N07/. The ;
Loggerhead Shrike was present in the north field as well.
