Hello all
Early this morning when I got off work I stopped by the small pond across
from the Target Distribution Center in Stuarts Draft to see if the two
birds were still there . As of 06 :40 both the Wilson's Phalarope & Stilt
Sandpiper were there when I left. Also there was only one of each Solitary &
Least sandpiper & a couple of Killdeer .
Getting there take I 64 to exit 94 -- go south onto Rt 340 towards Stuarts
Draft for about 2 .5 miles . You will come to a light at the intersection of
Rt 340 & Rt . 635 Mt. Vernon Rd . turn left & go about a mile or less
Target is on the right & the pond is on the left next to the road . Be
CAREFUL for this is a busy road & try to pull off as far off the road as
possible . Good luck .
