Solid numbers but low diversity at the Pony Pastures section of the
James River this morning. Only bird of note was a single WILSON'S
WARBLER showing well in a patch of pokeweed upstream from the parking
lot. A few redstarts and cedar waxwings were around, but otherwise
quiet. I ran into a Times Dispatch Reporter on the way out, doing a
story about the park, but couldn't get the photographer on to the
wilson's.
