Brown Thrashers have been seen on eight of the last ten Winter Bird
Counts in Lynchburg. Over that period, we had a high count of three in
2003. Although we consider the bird a rare winter visitor in our area,
we usually have at least one that lingers through the winter at someone's
bird feeder.
