Hi,
I drug my poor wife out with me yesterday afternoon in hopes of finding
Wood Ducks at Burke Lake.
We drove up and saw two right away in the area just to the left (facing
the water) of the marina. Walking toward the marina we found about 6
more and another 5-6 beyond.
Pretty close looks. Unless I don't get a really killer image out of
this group, my new goal is Wood Ducks in flight. Though I can't say
I've ever seen one fly at all...
I managed about 250 pictures of them. Here are three, not the best of
the bunch, but I haven't had time to process them all yet.
