For what seems to be a forthcoming November tradition of deceased rare
birds on the William and Mary campus (Painted Bunting last year), an
immature Yellow-billed Cuckoo appeared outside of one of the academic
buildings; a victim of an apparent window-kill. For those interested, the
specimen appears to be about two days old making the date of impact
approximately Nov 17. Gold book extreme date is Nov 10.
