All,
Sunday morning, 10 AM, while driving along the Colonial Parkway from
Yorktown to Williamsburg we saw a pair of common goldeneyes, drake and hen,
about 1.5 miles east of Cheatham Annex. Several horned grebes were in the
same area and there were many hundreds (thousands?) of ruddy ducks and
buffleheads along the river in scattered flocks of fifty to two hundred.
