Thanks to Bill for these links to sites to report bands you see on birds.Â
Here's another one which I have used several times, with positive results.Â

Bandedbirds.org is the best site to report flags and tags from researchers.Â
You can report shorebirds, gulls, and terns.Â
There are also species specific sites - like the one for American
Oystercatchers:Â http://amoywg.org/banding-re-sighting/reading-band-codes/
I believe they share the data once it is reported.
Hope that helps,
Bill

Our dock on the Ware River, Gloucester is hosting a ROTE with a band . It
is on the bird's right leg and is either white or silver. The black letters
are LAL. The left leg has a very narrow band with nothing showing.
It doesnât seem to match anything on the Fish and Wildlife page
instructions for reporting. Can someone please suggest where I might report
it?
