As we walked into the school after searching for box turtles in the Oak Marr
Park forest with my Field Natural History/Ornithology class we saw a kettle of
about 55 broad-winged hawks and a turkey vulture flying about SW low over the
school (9:40 AM). (We found no box turtles but we did find more than the usual
number of labyrinth spiders.)
