VA-Birders,Ten birders observed 37 species today on a free and open to all
Northern Virginia Bird Club walk at Mason Neck State Park. Waterfowl were the
biggest treat with 9 duck species including American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck
and Common Merganser. Tundra Swans were relatively close when viewed from the
Visitor Center, while most of the Bald Eagles were perched across Belmont Bay
