Greetings everyone,
A few months ago, a Facebook group for eBird Virginia was created. It is a
group designed for people to post questions about eBird, with an aim of
addressing issues at the state or local level. This includes questions
about filters, hot spots, proper use of non-species taxa, and other general
questions about eBird. It is not a bird-finding or bird-reporting group,
nor it is a forum for photo sharing. We have two excellent groups in
Virginia for those activities: Birding Virginia, and VA Notable Bird
Sightings.
The administrative team would like to invite any regular user of eBird (or
anyone who is interested in eBird who hasn't gotten started using it yet),
to join the group and to read the pinned post that more thoroughly outlines
the group's purpose.
