While hunkered down with the weather I wanted to ask some of you expert
hawk watchers about forecasts for the weather. I run the hanging rock NC
hawk watch and we'll be experimenting with a Jockeys Ridge NC hawk watch
this year as well, so I always keep close tabs on VA sites so we know a
little what to expect.
Not sure where in the pipeline the "big" numbers of broad-wingeds area,
does anyone want to speculate when VA hawk watch sites should start seeing
them? Immediately after all this rain, 1-2 days after all this rain, or
longer?
thanks for sharing any great knowledge.
