We saw a flock of white ibis at the Holiday Cottages and later they were up
in a tree by the Island Creamery. There were about 6-8 ibis.
Are these the same ones that were spotted out at the refuge as immatures
last year?
We also spotted at least 8 black necked stilts along the causeway in the
wetland marshes on the right just after leaving the island.
