We have an immature RED-HEADED WOODPECKER frequenting our feeder and I'd been
surprised to see that it takes sunflower seeds rather than suet. Today I
discovered that it is taking the sunflower seeds and caching them in the bark
crevices of at least 3 different trees. I knew that they cached acorns, I
didn't know that they also did the same thing with sunflower seeds.
