Hello everyone,
I started the new year in King William County today doing the Walkerton
CBC with Fred Atwood. We had a great day ending with around 84
species. The best bird by far was a juvenile Golden Eagle that flew
right over our heads at Elson Green. Next best sighting would have to
be the sunrise over the Pamunkey River while listening to a couple of
Great Horned Owls dueting. I've never done this CBC before but I
thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone. Hopefully Fred will
post a complete list once he catches up on his sleep.
