coming Saturday at 2 PM.

Journalist Will Stolzenburg will speak at Green Spring Gardens this Saturday,
November 5 at 2 p.m. Will is author of the excellent book, Where the Wild
Things Were, about the ecological imbalances resulting from the loss of top
predators like wolves in the United States. One chapter covers the impact of
deer on vegetation and cites extensively the problems deer have created in
Huntley Meadows Park.
His latest book, Rat Island, deals with the fight to save nesting birds and
other native wildlife on oceanic islands from introduced species like rats.
