A large crowd of 27 birders gathered for this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday
Morning Birdwalk. With the water back in the central wetland, we joyfully
counted ducks. With 46 species, some of our highlights besides the ducks,
included Brown Creepers, Cedar Waxwings, a couple of late Palm Warblers, lots
of Sparrows, and the Group's FOS Sapsucker. Great thanks to the Davises for
their hospitality in having most of us in for breakfast. We began our winter
hours this morning: From November to March, the Huntley Walk begins at 8
O'clock.
