I heard a pine siskin fly over the parking lot of Occoquan Bay NWR this morning
at about 7:20am. The refuge was much less birdy this morning than yesterday,
but there was still plenty to see. Highlights were a Nashville warbler, blue
grosbeak, rusty blackbird, and 2 king rails feeding and fighting in the marsh
along the wildlife drive.
