All,
spent yesterday afternoon and this morn from early light tll noon looking for
the btgo without success.
No one has seen the bird since an Austrian couple reported seeing the bird
yesterday. They were not 100% on there sighting as they did not see the
underwing pattern.

Subject: [Va-bird] Black-tailed Godwit update?
I'm stunned by the lack of response to Ron Gutberlet's finding of presumably
Virginia's first record of Black-tailed Godwit. When Bruce Peterjohn found
one in Delaware last month, the response was immediate! There were definitive
photos embedded in his eBird checklist which can be viewed directly at the
