I consider my self a pretty good birder by ear and thought I had lost it
when I thought I heard a Yellow Warbler singing in the back yard across the
canal where they always go in the spring. Doubting my ears..knowing it was way
too early..I didn't look! I will never know...but I am kicking my self for NOT
looking! It is so easy to brush things off that we know shouldn't be...and end
up regretting it. Perhaps too much study of the time frames birds are
supposed to be in the area isn't so great....after all the birds don't read
them
and follow the rules do they?
