I have regularly birdwatched on the Noland Trail in the Mariner's Museum
Park in Newport News this winter, and last saturday I observed roughly fifty
tree swallows zooming over Lake Maury (I am sorry that I posted so late). I
even got to witness their acrobatics as several flurries of snow past
through the area! This is my first spring of birdwatching, but as I have
never seen it before and have not seen any swallows there this week, I am
just looking for some information, as I find these birds fascinating!
Thanks for any info, good birding!
Nick Flanders.
