The cliffs by the fishing pier (7:30 AM) had some activity: black-throated
green, northern parula, prothonotary (maybe migrants since the cliffs may
not be their normal habitat), American redstart, and yellow. The hill above
the cliffs seemed very active at this time but I was not trying to id those
distant birds (mainly doing photography). I then walked thru the picnic
area (no activity) and then to the ruins (very little activity - one or two
warbler types that I did not identify). Down to Bushey Point and very
quiet. I noticed several warblers darting across the main road to the SE
but only identified one chestnut-sided. One Baltimore oriole flew by.
Several yb cuckoos and gc flycatchers in the area.
