Kurt Gaskill and I vistied The Point this morning and this time the birds
cooperated. We heard a FOS yellow-throated warbler along Possum Pt. Road in a
pine tree it shared with a pine warbler. Along Cockpit Pt. Road we heard FOS
Louisiana waterthrush. Other notables were purple finch, hermit thrush,
yellow-bellied sapsucker, winter wren, golden and ruby-crowned kinglets,
white-crowned sparrow, rusty blackbird, American widgeon, ring-necked duck,
green-winged teal, gadwall, black duck, hooded merganser, and pied-billed
grebe.
