Hi Dominique 3D touch or force touch as its also known allows users to
press harder on an application to bring up a shortcut menu or other options eg
if i force touch on the mail app i can go to inbox or compose a new mail
without actually opening the application 3D touch is only available on the
iphone 6S and later models
