Hi Edel,

It may be okay now but if not then you need to check the possibility that it
has become damaged perhaps through a virus attack. You should check out the
AVG virus vault by opening up the AVG program on your desktop and then going
into the programs menu. Click on the virus vault or enter key and it will
open up. Make sure this is empty, if it is not empty then just select all
items in it and delete them. Reboot the computer and run a full virus scan
of the computer. If the problem persists then you should I think uninstall
the AVG you have there and download and reinstall a new version.

Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] AVG start up message

Hi again

I seem to be monopolizing this list lately. Anyway here I go again.

When I switched on today, I got the following message from AVG.

'could not initialize AVG kernel interface. Application cannot run'

So, I did an manual update and it worked. Now I should I suppose be patient
and see what happens tomorrow but I said I'd just ask anyway to see if
anyone knows what that's all about.

Edel..
