Hi Paul,
Here’s one illustration of how you could add an exception to the list for
AdBlock Plus.
In the IE address bar, type the following
C:\Program Files\Adblock Plus for IE\html\templates\index.html
and press Enter. The
"Adblock Plus Options"
page should open. Select the
"Manage"
button and controls will appear which you can use to add exceptions to a list.
Type the address for the site for which you want to allow ads in the edit
field, for example,
www.youtube.com
and then select the
"Add"
button.

Subject: [vip_students] Ad Blocker and Channel 4
Hi all.
Obviously, I knew that I could not use Channel 4’s 4 On Demand without
disabling Ad Blocker so I did so. But Channel 4 is still inferring that there
is an ad blocker.
So, the question is: do I have to uninstall ad blocker completely or is there a
way of disabling ad blocker specifically for Channel 4. I believe that there
is but I have not been able to find it.
Anyone else had a similar experience and how, if at all, did they get around it?
Thanks
Paul
