In Newbridge the PDK people with disabilities and Newbridge Access Group have
discussed this with all the banks in the area, to make accessible charges for
all disabilities including VIPs so that we can all use the ATM machines in
branch, we have asked them to make the ATMs audio but to date we are still
waiting.

Hi all,
Recently I have noticed that the bank of ireland ATM machines have
braille on them. I have noticed braille symbols such as 2,4,6,8 and
the letter E. I would appreciate it if anyone can email an
explanation of what each of these symbols mean. I mainly use the ATM
for taking out money and do everything else online. Do you need to
memorise the order that the instructions appear on the screen as I
don't think there is a headphone slot in the machines.
