Have you checked in Duxbury that it is recognising your embossor? You do not 
say if it was working fine and then just stopped working. Might the cable to 
the PC have become disconnected. If it was working fine until now is there 
anything you might have done since then like installed new software?

I have a Braille printer and use Duxbury, I can open a document and
translate it, but it won't emboss for me.  Any help would be more than
welcome.
