Hi Tony,

The course Petrina mentions is run through Fas Net College, which is the
on-line or E-Learning arm of Fas.

They are expanding what they offer on line at the moment and are also
gaining an increasing awareness of accessibility.

Saying that though, I am not certain how accessible their ECDl material
might be just now.

You could also use the material that we at NCBI created a couple of years
ago for the Ace project, which sought to provide on-line instruction in part
of the ECDL syllabus.

While the material refers to Jaws version 4/5, it is still relevant in the
main and might be a resource worth checking out, at least until you have a
course proper that you can start on.

Regards,

Stuart.

Hi All,

I don't wish to close as yet on the ECDL info I am asking of!

Any further info gratefully appreciated
I assure you!

I am very much taken by the responses that I have and am receiving to my
query regarding such courses!

Thank you for taking the trouble of making contact.

During the course of my search I came across one or two people in that area
who I know, so because of that, I think that I could be left waiting!! but
perhaps for not too long!

Well done to you all for coming to the rescue
with your suggestions and pointers.

Much appreciated!

Happy Studying and good weather or no have a great summer!

Thank you moderator too!

All the bbest,

Tony Sweeney.
