Hi Susan and all, Recently Susan asked about an audio program that she has on her computer. I didn't know much about it, in fact I had not heard of it before but my friend Mark offered me the following piece he wrote for us about it and I wanted to post it here for all to read especially yourself Susan who actually has the software. Thanks to Mark Macginnis for this by the way. Hi Paul, someone on the students list asked about Exact Audio Copy. It's not for copying files to CD. It's for making the best quality copies of audio CDs. The Audio CD format is fiendishly complicated and, despite what most people think, copying a CD so it sounds as good as the original is not simply a case of making a faithful bit- for-bit copy. Exact Audio Copy is the audiophile's software of choice. But unless you have a very good hi fi system, you probably wouldn't notice the difference anyway.
