Hi all.
Anyone using Flicktype may have noticed an update in the app store
yesterday. It is a minor update but an option now removed is the upgrade
option.
Basically, the app has split into two. Apple Watch users will now have a
separate app for a once_off charge of 2.99. The Flicktype app will also
cost 2.99 once_off but for those who have already downloaded the app,
whether they have been paying the.99 per month subscription charge or not,
the app will gbe free.
Therefore, anyone paying the .99 monthly charge can now cancel their
subscription without effecting their full access to all aspects of the app.
This can be done from my account/subscriptions in the app store.
I have learned all of this through being a member of the Flicktype Beta
testers group and I include the below clarification posted there yesterday
from the developer following the latest update.
"To clarify, existing subscribers will also be able to keep using the app
with no additional cost. In fact, once you update, you should be able to
cancel your subscription and still be able to use the app forever."
