thanks so much, my daughter and her husband with my 2 grand children are here till sunday and i'm so busy with them that i don't really have time for the computer so i might have to wait till i get some time to myself so i can consintrate on this twitter thing.

Well, the control and Windows keys, plus several other single or combined characters, operate theQube. (the Readme file explains these, what they do, and it also explains what Twitter itself is and does.) You can get quick keystroke help within theQube (that's Qube with a Q), by there pressing control windows and k keys. you can then arrow down through the list, or press some key combo involving ctrl and windows keys to find out what that key combo does. the Readme file fills in much of the detail as you go through it or as you go along.

I didn't bother with the shortcut key but just went to 'programmes' and hit T for the qube and I am having no probs at all now.

when i hit on the shortcut on the desk top, it just says welcome to the
cube, twithome empty, logged in to twitter as susanbourke2, 47 tweets.

but when i hit the up and down arrow i'm still on the desk top.
maybe this is the same problem as paul is having.
