Hi Folks
Following on from the successful pilot project in Cork the joint initiative
between VICS and Fighting Blindness now propose to establish a computer
exchange club in the Dundalk area.
We are seeking expressions of interest from users in this area who would be
interested in attending such a club both as facilitators as well as novice
users of assistive technology. If interested please e-mail me at the above
address stating your status as someone who can help with facilitating the
club or as a novice user.
We hope in the not-too-distant future to source a central location in Dundalk
where the club can be established.
An initial meeting will be held at which agreement on the venue and day and
time of the club can be agreed by those attending.
As with the clubs in Dublin and Cork, the emphasis is on learning to use
smart phones, iPads, GPS, useful apps, etc.
Can you spread the word through other mailing lists and social media please.
