Hi Tony,

Your first question:
Now I have an email from Google Alerts with a link to verify and another to
cancel.

Yes Tony as you said just click the verify link with your JAWS cursor. I
honestly can't remember what came up for me but you will know if it worked
or not when a Google Alert mail comes into your In Box and if not just go
back and try the enter key or clicking it again with the JAWS cursor. I
know it worked for me and I didn't need anybody to click it with the mouse.

Your Second Question:
What is the procedure for having for example the Google toolbar fill in the
requested email address?

With regards to this I know as little as you about it, so perhaps someone
else might come in here and clear this one up for both of us.

Best wishes

Loretta

I filled in mine by typing it in.

Hi Loretta,

Thanks for informing us about Google Alerts!

I have successfully created an alert, or so I have been informed!

There is, by the way an option to discontinue an alert which I had wondered
about.

There is quite comprehensive info when you click on the link which we were
kindly given
by you.

One question, and it has to do with filling in forms online?

What is the procedure for having for example the Google toolbar fill in the
requested email address?

I filled in mine by typing it in.

All the best,

Tony Sweeney.

Hi All,

I am at the moment interested in a certain topic so I created a Google Alert
which sends an e-mail into my In Box once a day. In this mail there are
links to the topic of interest so I can enter on the link I wish to read.
So, have a read of the below and you may like to set up a Google Alert for
yourself. This just involves going to the link I have listed below and
typing in the word or words you wish to create the alert on and then
entering on the Create Alert Button.

Details on Google Alerts:

Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web,
news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:

list of 4 items

. monitoring a developing news story

. keeping current on a competitor or industry

. getting the latest on a celebrity or event

. keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams

list end
