When in the sndvol dialogue (previously described): tabbing once you come to
the mute/unmute checkbox. The next tab keypress brings up the volume level
of your screen-reader, and the next tab keypress after that brings up the
mute/unmute your screen-reader in use - JAWS or NVDA - button.

First Option:
Press the Windows logo key.
Type sndvol, and press ENTER.
Press the TAB key ONCE. Press SPACE.
If you now hear sound, good. If not, press SPACE again, to restore the
state.
If you now hear sound, and since you're in the Volume Mixer, you can tab
around to explore it, including muting/unmuting your screen-reader.

I have accidentally muted my pc and am looking for keystrokes to unmute it.
I had this problem some time ago and got instructions from this list but
have lost them. Can anyone help. I can get to the point where I'm on the
desktop, but no further.
