Hi Aedan,We are, or we think we are, anyway. perhaps paul will address your question soon. You know, some software has these inaccessible installation wizards and such, so that you really can't get past the license agreement (which may apparently have no buttons, etc., so you have to find graphics, click, and hope or pray.)
it seemed to me that you were at the final stage of a dialogue, by which time it should have been accessible. However, inaccessibility may take 'all sorts', depending on what software is being installed. Another trick, at the end of a dialogue, when the 'are you sure you want to...' prompt comes up, is to press y for yes or n for No, depending on what you want to do.

Hi Flor,Many thanks for reply. Yes, I have to use "Say all" sometimes to get these dialogues but then very often particularly when installing new software Iforget to rotate to this setting and miss the dialogue. This is very annoying and for the life of me I cannot see why the ability to speak dialogues does not function automatically.I did note in an official demo of using Jaws that the person had to turn on"ssay all" when installing some product. I had hoped the Guru might know some answer to this . Hope you and the brothers are all keeping well. Kind regards Aedan. -----Original Message-----From: vip_students-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx[mailto:vip_students-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: 12 August 2011 23:29 To: vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vip_students] Re: Jaws not reading out needed responses. Perhaps if you switch Screen Echo to All with Insert+s in those dialogues, it may help some.----- Original Message -----From: " Aedan O'Meara" <aedanomeara@xxxxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, August 12, 2011 11:32 AM Subject: [vip_students] Jaws not reading out needed responses.HI Paul, Is there any permenant setting to make jaws read out the response to actions like "Do you want to remove.... Yes or No" I'm sure all on list know how much a nuisance it is to have to bring up jawscursor and uparrow every time to get the relevant message. Sometimes I assume the message and give the wrong answer with disasterous results!Regards Aedan.
