Thanks for the help with Excel. This is working perfectly now.
For anyone interested, I was reading through the Jaws help document for Excel
and came across the below information which works well too:
Alternatively, you can use Excel's naming function to specify which rows and
columns contain cell titles. Using names instead of JAWS commands makes the
spreadsheet accessible to any user of JAWS. There is no need to provide other
users with the spreadsheet's .jsi file because the row and column title
information is saved in the worksheet. This feature allows any spreadsheet
author to define row and column titles without installing or using JAWS.
To use names to define row and column titles, do the following:
Move to the first cell in the column or row containing the titles. If the
spreadsheet contains both row and column titles, move to the cell where these
two intersect.
For Excel 2007 or later, do the following:
From the Formulas tab, choose Name Manager in the Define Names group. The Name
Manager dialog box opens.
Next, choose New. The New Name dialog box opens with focus in the Name edit
field.

Joan Ann,
Once the title row is set as Paul describes, you can hear the title of the
current column in any row by pressing Insert + left Alt + shift + Letter C".
This is useful if you are ten rows down and wonder what the column heading is.
Likewise, insert + left alt + shift +"r" will call out the row heading once the
column containing the row headings is defined by using insert +right alt + "r".

Hi Joan Ann,
Place your cursor in the first cell of the row of items you want JAWS to read
as you move through cells beneath them. Now use keys, "Insert + Right Alt +
Letter C" for columns and the same for rows except use letter "R".

Hi all
I am looking for some help with Microsoft Excel 2013 as I have not had any
reason to use it for a very long time. I am using Jaws version 16.
Here is an example of what I want to do. I have a spread sheet with the
following details on the first roh (from A1 to A6):
Name, address1, address2, County, e-mail, phone, Now I wish to fill in the
details for 20 people. Is it possible for me to get Jaws to tell me the column
titles as I am filling in the information?
