Hi

You are partly right.

Go to Mcafee.com and look at their security for mobility devices. We in the
Consumer market (less than 50 nodes) do not necessarily need any malware for
our mobility device.

However, if you are a legal persona or someone with a sensitive data base you
will need some data leakage product.

Last year 35 new devices were launched, with a roll out view of over 1000? So
end point security via your mobile phone is an issue ... but still in its
infancy but growing very rapidly.

Mcafee have the best state of the art security devices as they intrinsically
are a Security Support company. But 95% of all malware does come through your
e-mail gateway and ... your app covering this segment is vulnerable?

Look at their Software as a service download and you will find something
inexpensive or even free to download.

Not Paul but the majority of people using Symbian phones with Talks do not
bother with anti-virus for their phones. It is not necessary in the same way as
for a PC.

Greetings,

Perhaps this may be one for Paul.

I recently had my Nokia set up with the internet and am now wondering what
antivirus programme I should install?

I use Avast for the internet on my laptop and I find it great.

Are there different types of programmes for Symbian phones?

Thanks,

Tony
