Hello Niall, the Iaudiox5 is a mp3 player, but with a difference. The Iaudio has the facility to load software which allows menus and files to be spoken.
I would like to stress here that although these players are fantastic they are very tricky to setup. I have been experimenting with my Iriver for the last few months updating the software and voices I just about got the hang of it.

Hi Mairead I recently bought the IAudio and find it to be very user friendly. You don't need to use ITunes to transfer the music onto the IAudio.
ITunes
is only used to transfer music onto IPods. When you plug the device into your computer via the USB port, windows sees it as another device so, using windows explorer, you can copy and paste albums on to the IAudio which is very easy. Rock box is used to make the IAudio speak menus and voice box is used to
get
the IAudio to call out album and track names. Hope this helps Joan Ann. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mairead O Mahony" <maireadomahony@xxxxxxxxx> To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, May 12, 2007 3:44 PM Subject: [vip_students] iaudio mp3 players > Hi all > I am interested in buying an iaudio mp3 player but I don't know much > information about them.
