Ah right Gary, I presumed it was a general enquiry. A case of having to develop
your own strategy then, I would ask if I could record the meeting in order to
take the minutes at a later date. I am sure those at the meeting would
understand especially if you are offering to write up minutes and they would
understand that that was the purpose of your recording due to your visual
impairment.

I think that depends on their writing skills and they're on ability for
notetaking.Braille notetaker our lap top would be my preference. going back
to people of my own age who read Braille, might possibly have learned how to
do BREL shorthand. it was not something I was ever interested in but I think
for note taking one makes up one's own abbreviations but requires good
keyboard speed.
