Thanks again for your help but I managed to find alot of files and photos after searching for hours but I will keep the download in case I need it in the future.

Do you know anything about windows photo gallery on vista?. I hate the OS.

Hi Gary,

Okay, you could now give "Recuva" a try. Its free and can undelete files
which were accidently deleted. I haven't used it myself so would like to
hear if you have any success using it, just install it and run then type in
all or part of the filenames missing and see how it works. Here's the
download link;

http://download.piriform.com/rcsetup142.exe

Thanks

Hi Gary,

Well if they are deleted in the usual way then they should be in the
"Recycle Bin". Just go in there and look, anything that's in there you
wish to put back in its original place, just right click on it and
choose "Restore" and it will be put back into My Documents or wherever
it came from.

Paul.

Guys.
If word files and photo are deleted by accident on vista, can they be
restored?.
